hello, have an audi a4 b6 model, and all power windows stopped working. I checked fuses, door wires, the wires from the comfort module and I found nothing. central locking work, door lamps work , foot lamp too. I did a test VAG-COM, but I did not found errors. I searched the forum but nothing helped me Symptom: I have a problem with electrical windows not working on A4 avant 2003 year (front doors electrical only). So far I checked wiring on doors (ok), motor works (for windows movement), switch for up &down works (it is ok), no DTC on VAG diagnostic scanner, fuses checked &ok. The front driver side window started going up and down, getting stuck, and not responding. It turned out that the window regulator was broken and needed to be replaced. NOW - the front passenger side window is doing the same thing. I have changed and recoded a replacement steering control module but thats not sorted it. Some suggest ignition switch but a sympton I read would be radio staying on after removing key from ignition, but theres no problem with this. So nothing works from the stalks, nor the horn. The first signs of a faulty window regulator is a crunching and noisy sound when you operate the window and you may notice the window does not go up the last few millimetres when you close the 3JpSgV.
